I am totally beside myself-ya’ll voted me right into the top 4! I just want to thank you all from the bottom of my happy heart, for taking the time to support my photo. The winner should be announced today, and I just might wet my pants if I don’t find out soon! This was the FIRST photo contest I have ever entered, and I now know why-I don’t do well with suspense. Huge congrats to the other 3 lovely ladies in this with me-you are all incredibly talented.
Since there were soooo many of you who wanted to get your hands on your own gorgeous Matilda Jane Clothing, I got together with “the most fabulous trunk-keeper in all the land” Emily, and I am hosting an Online Trunk Show starting…..right…..about…….NOW!!!! To place your order, simply go to the website, make sure your size is available, email me what you want along with your phone number, and I will take it from there. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, December 15th, so get those orders rolling in!
Biggest thanks of all goes out to the girls at MJC for giving us this opportunity to get creative! YOU ROCK!
My most favorite clothing line for my sweet little girls is Matilda Jane. It just doesn’t get any cuter than this. So when I saw they were having a photo contest, of course, I jumped at the opportunity. I was floored to find I was among a handful of fabulously talented photographers to participate in the PhOtO LoVe contest! Here’s the scoop on the contest: each of the photogs was sent the same dress, and it was up to us to put our own spin on it. What’s the prize, you ask?!? Why, it’s a trip to the Spring Fashion Show AND, drumroll please…..the Spring collection!!!! For those of you who know me, you know I totally obsess over things like this-planning, finding the perfect concept, location, props, etc., so after weeks of brainstorming, I had my Big Idea (any Pinky Dinky Doo fans?) The big kicker was, I could only submit-gasp-ONE photo! After careful deliberation, here’s the one I decided to go with:

I hope I made the right choice! If you think so, please show me some PhOtO LoVe by visiting http://matildajane.typepad.com/ and voting for my pic. As of this post, the images have yet to be posted, but earlier today, it was announced they would be online tonight!
LOVE these two!! They were married on what was, quite arguably, THE hottest Saturday in June, at Cheekwood, but what a beautiful ceremony it was. The love and support Christian and Elizabeth have from their friends and family was so inspiring, and I know they will have a beautiful life together. Thanks again for sharing your day with me.

Christian, waiting to see his lovely bride…
The beautiful Elizabeth.

A few of the amazing details: Flowers by Mitchell White.

A few more amazing details: gorgeous cake by Sweet Sallies, home roasted coffee favors, compliments of the bride’s father.

Quick note about the cutie in the top right-I photographed her Mommy & Daddy’s wedding about three years ago:)

Really?!? Has it been over a MONTH since I have posted anything? Time does fly, and it seems it has been going at warp speed this Fall. Tomorrow, I will finish up the 2009 wedding season with Sarah and Shane’s wedding. It has been a glorious year, and I feel so blessed to have worked with all the great couples and families I have met. 2010 is already gearing up to be a great one, and I am looking forward to what’s in store.
I have so much to blog, so I decided to just start at the top of the list and work my way down:) Hope you enjoy!
Michelle, A Beautiful Bride.
Can’t say enough nice things about this girl. Gorgeous, sweet, funny-I had a blast working with her and Cody. They were married in October (pics to come soon!)

Lauren & Josh, e-session.
I am so excited about working with Lauren & Josh. They are such a fun couple, and they are planning a fabulous April wedding at the gorgeous University of the South campus in Sewanee. Here are a few of their engagement photos, taken in downtown Nashvegas!

I’m working on Catherine and Mike’s awesome wedding from last weekend, as I type this. I had to stop and share a sneak peek with you-I just loved this shot. Check back soon for more photo goodness!

I know. I haven’t blogged in weeks, and I have a bazillion things to share! I thought I would start today with an awesome engagement session I did in early summer for Jeremy and Rachel. I just love these two, and being around them, you can just feel the love -kind of like in Lion King, only better;)

It’s official! Fall mini-sessions have been slated for November 5-8! You won’t want to miss this one-pics will be ready just in time for all your holiday cards and gifts!! I am doing things a little differently this time, so give me a call at 931-252-0759 or email me at info@redletterdaysphotography.com to get all the details and schedule your session!
I cannot even express in words how excited I am to work with this couple! Taylor is one of the kindest women I have ever met-not to mention she is drop-dead gorgeous! (Mac, your a nice guy too). The couple will be getting married in October at a beautiful, historic church in Wartrace, followed by what is sure to be a fabulous reception at her parents’ home. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
